CHANGING TURKEY IN THE CHANGING WORLD
Turkish Studies International Summer School held under the summer school organization by Istanbul Aydin University, is a collaborative program with Duke University and Rutgers University.
Duke University is a well-known American university which has established a prominent and steadfast ranking range both (9th nationally) and globally (14th internationally).
Turkish Studies Summer School lasts for four days and designed in a various site-set programs. 52 participants take the opening seminars in the Florya Campus of Istanbul Aydin University and then move to relevant sites.
This year, seminar venues cover headquarters of MUSIAD, Office of Bagcilar Gorvernor and museums, following opening seminars in Florya Campus.

DIPLOMACY FORUM
Under the auspices of EPPAM, our students at Political Science and International Relations Department will organize Diplomacy Forum, in which issues of world politics including diplomacy, foreign policy, economics and other related issues will be discussed with participation of diplomats, bureaucrats, businessmen, journalists, and analysts at think‐tanks. We believe that with this diplomacy forum, our students will have a chance to learn issues of world politics and foreign policy of the world states at first hand, and also to learn about their prospect jobs in order to prepare themselves with regard to the requirements of the jobs.
DIPLOMACY FORUM ANKARA PROGRAM
Our students at Political Science and International Relations Department initiated Diplomacy Forum Visit to Ankara on 15 February 2011 in order to have face to face relations with diplomats, bureaucrats, experts at think tanks in Ankara. Program includes;
- AK Party Group Meeting
- Meeting with Bülent ARINÇ, State Minister and Vice Prime Minister, Manisa MP
- Meeting with Egemen BAĞIŞ, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator of Turkey in accession talks with the European Union, Istanbul MP
- Meeting with Yaşar YAKIŞ, Former Foreign Minister of Turkey, Chair of the European Union Harmonization Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Düzce MP
- Meeting with Murat MERCAN and Members of Foreign Affairs Commission, Head of Grand National Assembly Foreign Affairs Commission, Eskişehir MP
